Medical Advocacy, Kids and Body Image, Media Images, Food,
Exercise, and Health, How you can help and bibliographies.
Their goals and mission mostly focus on size
discrimination, media images and medical treatment.

The website companion to Marilyn Wann's
newsletter and book. I recommended the book for ideas on
activism. The newsletter is currently not coming out, but
the website includes the still active Gab Café. Contact

International Size Acceptance Association
The International Size Acceptance
Association mission is to eliminate size discrimination and
increase size acceptance. They are all over the world and
have many virtual chapters. They regularly send out
activism alerts via an e-mail list.
Largesse: The Network
for Size Esteem
Created in 1986, Largesse is an online advocacy agency and
clearinghouse for fat positive information.

National Organization of Lesbians of SizE
NoLose is a national support
organization for large lesbians, bi-women, transgender
women and allies.
About Face
Although About Face is not an
exclusively a size acceptance group, it's mission is to
expose good and bad images in the media and to promote
positive self esteem for girls and women.

Size I Must B
DTMWSIMB in an online group started by
Jodie Hunter that has over 1300 members who post
information about various issues affecting the size
community, including media, medical and clothing. Members
communicate via a yahoo group, and there is also a main
website with size acceptance information.
